Does anyone know of any English (language) or multilingual sports clubs in the Tokyo area, preferably that accepts beginners?
It doesn't matter what sport it is--football (soccer), martial arts, track, whatever, I just want to learn something new and keep fit.
This is purposefully open-ended, so any information is appreciated.
Thank you in advance. |

Hey I am not in the Tokyo area, but I recommend you check out "Metropolis". They have several distribution locations for their magazine (free to pick up) as well as an online site that you could get to if you checked google. The magazine is basically devoted to all facets of Tokyo life, and is in English. I have seen postings in the past regarding health and fitness clubs. Another place to check is the Gaijinpot.com website which has a classified section that often lists group activities and clubs under the "events" and the "lesson/teaching" sections. Hope that helps you. |
