Folks:
Any one leaving the UAE tertiary system with a least one successful contract term history, and willing to share his/her secret to success besides playing the 'door mat' will be really useful for newbies joining next academic year.
Thanks,
Mamasboy

I'm afraid you're kippered mamasboy.

Doormats feature in most dress-codes in the Gulf. Some people go for a rather chic, hint of Dirk Bickembergs doormat, others for a more 1980's-London Carnaby-St style, and many simply go for a $4 Carrefour el- cheapo. But who really cares, hey, a doormat is a doormat.

The only other option open to you if you really value your principles is to dress as the consumate rebel. But I've never really liked the hats those bell-boys wear.

www.ted.com

Ted talks on success.

You've got to watch the kids trying not to eat the marshmallow, especially the little girl!

Then, after that, 8 secrets. I like his ppt.
