First of all, please don't bother replying if you're only going to give me the "SIGH there are three thousand posts about this topic already" lecture. I did a site search, and nothing came up. I am not going to waste three weeks sifting through 80 bajillion old posts.

That said... does anyone know anything about Beans International Preschool? I have an interview with them on Friday, in Miyahara, Saitama. I found the job listed on gaijinpot. They replied promptly to my e-mail and to all my questions, but I can't find any information on the company from previous or current employees. The job I'm applying for is full-time, teaching a 2 year-old class.

Thanks so much!

I interviewed at one of their other branches.

The hours were rather long and demanding but the pay was above the industry standard of 250,000, and they also provide shakai hoken. It seemed like a nice little place but not very stable, at least at the branch in Kansai. They're looking for a new teacher every single year.

Thanks, lisa. So you ended up not taking the job?

I wasn't offered it. They hired someone else who quit mid-contract Laughing
