Hello!
I want to know what the legalities are for buying a car to drive back to the U.S. from Mexico. What sorts of registration issues will I have? What are the costs? What happens at the U.S. border? What are the issues with the title that I'm sure I'll have? Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance! |

I left Mexico in 2000 in a Mexican VW beetle. No problems at the border. I drove it around California for 6 months. I put it up for sale with the Mexican plates still on it. Sold to the first caller. I had no idea it'd be such a hot item. |
