Hi All,

I am wondering if Vietnam tests for Hepatitis C in their health certificate screening. It seems a little odd that they would run a blood test for this, when so many Asian people have Hep C. If you know the answer please reply or send me a PM, thanks!

Hep B screening for health check required for work permit. Nothing about Hep C.

Thanks for the info. I got a PM from someone who said they do check for hep c but I couldn't PM him back because I don't have five posts. I wish I had more info directly from someone who has recently been there. In any case, many Asians have hep c and it is not easy to acquire so I wonder why they bother to check.

Did you ever find out about the Hep C testing? Definitive answers are hard to find so it would be great if you'd share any info.

On the form that Cho Ray hospital used for me for the health check they did not test for Hep C only Hep B
