|
|
Hello,
Again, I'm writing on behalf of an individual who has been offered a position at a high school in Hangzhou through a recruiter.
Question 1: The qualifications description reads: "M.A. or B.A. with teacher certification." Does this mean a valid teacher's license with both degrees or only the B.A.?
Question 2: Do salaries/benefits differ for direct hires vs. recruited hires (as it does in some countries)?
Question 3: Any experience living and working in downtown Hangzhou?
Thank you for any information you can provide.
Regards,
PS |

I suspect I received the same offer from the recruiter.
It was 300,000 - 350,000 RMB a year plus 4000 a month housing.
That's an enourmous offer for China, that's 29000 a month [minimum] upto 33,000.
I believe it's pretty rare for jobs to pay more than 30,000 a month, even for subject teachers, so it's a good deal.
I probably would have taken it if I hadn't already signed elsewhere. |
