These would seem quite lengthy in mileage. As opposed to shorter ones from Ist. or from Adana. People working off the books in Ankara have quite a long ride dont they, every 90 days.......and its looking a bit like I may be one of those people in the near future. To which place would it make most sense to do the visa run from Ankara? Anybody?

y no replies here? Nobody working in Ankara and needing to do a run every 90 days? Where would be best/most convenient location from there? possible job in Ankara and not expecting the work visa within 90 days as far as I read on this forum.

hey, i just got back from a visa run from ankara to cyprus. the round-trip ticket was about $150. just an hour flight.

awesome! not bad at all! which airline, Turkish? $150 is great. Did you stay in ahotel for the night in Cyprus? How long can you stay ?

it was anadolu airlines. just go on the turkish air website. you'll fly into ercan airport in the north. i stayed a week on the island and made a holiday out of it. if you just want to stay one night, i think nicosia/lefkosa is the nearest town to the airport. but there are only 2 hotels on the north side. you can book ahead online.

i stayed in girne/kyrenia for three nights and in paphos in greek cyprus for three nights. i got nice hotels with pools for about $60/night, but you can definitely find cheaper places.
