The students are 20-somethings, all nice and neat, eager and really friendly: the other day, three girls paid for my lunch because my employer forgot to provide information on how to get lunch and/or food tickets.
One of the subjects I teach is Writing. SInce my students are Chinese I have to make sure they actually comply with my instructions.
So the other day I asked them: "Do you have paper and pen? Show me your paper and pen, please!"
A girl way back in the huge hall stands up: "Mr. D..., sorry, I have no pen..is, believe me!" |
