My partner lost his CELTA certificate in the mail recently. Unfortunately, CELTA (IH london) refuses to issue replacements. However, they will issue a "certifying statement". Will the Viet government care/accept this do you reckon? Or will employers/gov be fussy about seeing the original?
He plans to get a copy of his certificate notarized/authenticated.
Reckon it will be enough? |

How gracious they are! That is very strange, most educational institutes will issue additional copies of certificates, even if they do charge a fee for the service. Trinity Tesol do |

The government only cares about a Bachelor's degree; the employers care about the certificate. I agree: that's an odd policy, seriously. But in truth the question is about employers/sponsors/business partners, not the immigration office. If you're interested in ILA/Apollo- type work, ask them specifically. They'll answer. |

The Celta couldn't possibly be lost in the mail, as it would have to have been signed for, or returned to the sender (Cambridge). Don't give up trying to find it |
