Hello,
My name is Joe and I'll be TESOL certified in June 2011. I am hoping to teach English close to the Nagano prefecture, so I would be near family. I also am in the process of getting an international license and I have a BA. By the time I'm ready to move, I will have a spouse visa for Japan. I will be moving there with my wife, a Japanese citizen, and my two cats.
I'm wondering if there are respectable job recruiters that I should contact before I make my move. I would rather have a job before I arrive in Japan. I am also wondering if it is complicated to find a job teaching English in Japan if I'm already in Japan. One more thing, is there a best time of the year to make the move that more jobs would be available; the schools are looking for more teachers positions to be filled?
