Fun stuff for sure! Has anyone had to send thier
uni transcripts to get apostiled in their home country to
satisfy they are authentic? Trust is a forgotten
issue in these days of counter-counterfiet measures!
Again, anyone from Canada had to do this, and
were there any hassles? MP |

Don Mario,
If your certification was awarded in your home country you can have them attested at your embassy in Muscat, well at least that is what we did at the British Embassy there, don't know about Canada. We had to have both MA's and transcripts done

It is a real hassle to get Canadian degrees attested. There is no consulate here nor is there an embassy in Canada. The best thing to do which a friend of mine did two years ago was to stop over in Abu Dhabi and get them attested there before arriveing in Oman - but then you can only come in on a visitors visa, which many colleges will not accept. A tricky one.
If you are coming to work for an agency, I don't think there is a problem as degrees do not have to be attested for them. |
