I heard through the grapevine that Russian teachers at BKC Moscow are paid $25 - $27 per academic hour.

I was also told that class sizes are never more than 6 students.

Is that so!? Shocked

Does anyone know how much students pay to study at BKC?

Edited to delete the evidence of my glaring inability to read (*Russian* was the key word in that question, wasn't it?)

I've got a question to piggy-back here: Folks that signed the freelance contract for BKC-Moscow (not in the suburbs), did you have enough hours to avoid that bogus monthly "fee" for being under 24 academic hours a week? I wouldn't turn down classes up until about 25-26 hours, but I'm worried they might 'accidentally' or 'unavoidably' underschedule me, thus cutting in on earnings and cost me that chunk of change each month.

AFAIC these rates are true for all freelancers on their 3d, 4th etc contracts with BKC, regardless of their countries of origin. You'll have to arrange your accommodation, though. Classes can be anything up to 15(!) sometimes, but extra ss usually drop off after a few lessons, luckily.

I worked at BKC for 3 years just outside of Moscow.

Students pay about 400 rubles/ academic hour outside of Moscow and about 700rub/hour in the city. One on one students will be about 1000rub or more/hour. You can do well teaching private students but be sure the school doesn't have a problem with it.
I have a lot of information regarding BKC. Feel free to contact me. you can You can also check out a blog I wrote.

There can be problems working for this school depending on your expectations.
