I accepted a simple teaching job and was issued a small apartment in North Jakarta that has a total of 900 watts.
Does that mean I cannot use my 900 watt microwave?
My Playstation uses about 250-280 watts.., does that mean
I may have to unplug everything before watching a movie?
Some neighbors have screen doors, is there a purpose for this?
Maybe because the kitchen does not a vent/fan shaft for cooking?
Please do not tell me I have to open the door and all the windows, if I want cook (lol)
This apartment is on the 21st floor, so will mosquitos be a factor?
It is nothing worse than a mosquito buzzing in your ear at 2 am. |

I've lived on the 21st floor of an apartment in Jakarta and never encountered a mosquito. So you should be fine in that department. |

just keep turning things on til u trip the breaker, then you know your limit. If you are continually tripping your breaker, talk to your school or owner and the management office. usually u can have the wattage increased, for a small fee. but this also increases you monthly minimum charge (abodement). |

An average aircon uses 660W so you won't have much power to run anything else if you like it cool. Note that the height of your apartment is approx the elevation that some pollutants hang around so don't imagine healthy fresh air in the evening. |
