Hi guys,

Anyone have any experience with, or info about, Tokyo Kids Club? I'm setting up an interview for a full-time position with them. Their website is all in Japanese, so tough for me to read... Searched here and nothing helpful came up.

Please and thank you!

Very Happy

omg....can't believe this! i used to work there and thought i posted a warning. i was fired by seiko, the sneaky passive-agressive owner who knows nothing about teaching.
where to start??
before I started the two girls kinda warned me about the place.....but?
i did nothing wrong and have been teaching kids for many years quite effectively. about 3 months into the job.....when i was already responsible for training someone she hired who had no experience.....she decided that i should speak japanese in class. i disageed with this......totally unnecessary and against my teaching style. she just has ZERO clue about teaching.
the reason she fired me was when i called in sick. another teacher had to come to work sick and then i got sick.
i fought her and got 2 months pay.
i became good friends with the other girl who was working there, as the boss made her life hell....and mine too!
she was always complaining to me that the other teacher couldn't teach......a real mess of a woman!
also....she will lie to yoou when you are hired....about days off, holiday, etc, so be careful.
after i was gone she hired some eastern european chick who was stealing from everyone in the office. she put cameras in the office and had the girl arrested. she goes through employees fast!!
i'm still friends with the girl that i met working there. we were both so miserable there and were relieved when it was over.
good luck Rolling Eyes
