I was requested to provide a demonstration class for some job interviews. Could someone please give me some tips on what to prepare for the interview? I am new to China and ESL... |

Do you have any education background?
Have you ever had a job with an interview before?
Do you have any teaching experience?
Did you receive a proper TESOL/TEFL type certificate?
If not, then why do you think you should/can just come to China and be a teacher? That's just my opinion.
Otherwise, if you're not willing to make a lesson to demonstrate your "abilities" then you can find material online all nicely setup for you to do without thinking. |

Probably, because countless Chinese schools don't care an iota about the things that you've listed, and, instead, only require somebody foreign, with a pulse, who can speak passable English. I think that the opinion of those doing the hiring in China, tops your opinion. |
