Although used as an alternative to Soy and Whey protein, hemp seems less ubiquitous than the former options. So I'm curious to know about its availability (and legality, if necessary) in and around Asia.

1. Which countries, if any, produce hempseed oil and/or protein powder?

2. Which countries, if any, permit consumption of domestic or imported hemp oil and/or protein powder?

I'm currently based in South Korea and from what I've been told, both powered and oiled sources are strictly prohibited domestically; as well as importing both said sources.

You can buy hemp protein powder in Korea from this site: http://www.mass119.com/ It's quite pricey though.
