I have both a drivers lic from home and a Japanese drivers licence. I am going to Europe this year and might be driving for a few days.
my question is; How hard is it to get a Japanese international drivers licence?
maybe one for you Glenski? |

It is not hard at all. I'm going to get one myself later this week.
Contact the driver testing station near you. You'll probably have to bring a pair of photos (or take them there, 700 yen), your current J license, passport, inkan, and about 2650 yen for the application itself. Where I live, it's not an option to get it on the weekend, so I have to sacrifice a day of work. Takes about 1-1.5 hours, they said, but you have to get things started by 3pm or you can't get it done on the same day. |

No, not Teine. I don't live in Sapporo anymore. |
