My friend has been offered an interview sometime next month with Aramco, through a well-known contractor. However, my friend has also noticed that he can apply through direct hire with Aramco as well. Should my friend just go ahead and apply to Aramco directly, at the same time? Or would this cause problems? |

Apply to ARAMCO directly just to see, but the interview panel (made of only ARAMCO people) told me (in Houston last April) that they do not hire new teachers directly.
Don't pay any interview expenses. One well-known contractor pays all flight, taxi, and hotel fees--with meal vouchers thrown in. Other contractors pay nothing!
Good luck. |

Thanks mate,
Will my friend have to go to Houston for orientation, if he is British? |

As far as I know, Houston was only a temporary interview site; everything happened in a hotel. |

It is time for "your friend" to become an adult and ask his own questions. |
