Hello! I need some quick advice. After getting stiffed by a university who promised to hire me, I looked into K-12 jobs and got a last-minute interview with TED, which I understand is the premier private school in Ankara.
They offered me the job, but I'm hesitant. I've never taught K-12 before, and I would be teaching 6th-8th graders. Am I in for a nightmare?
The pay is good, just about the best I've seen for foreign instructors in Ankara. I've lived and taught in Ankara for one year, so I'm familiar with the city. Just specifics on the students and the school, please. Thanks! |

From my experience in Turkey, children around that age bracket are okay to teach. At least, they sit still long enough to do something productive.
Sorry, I don't have any experience with that particular school. |

In a nutshell, yes. they do have a good solid reputation and if you are on the team you should have been sent to the orientation course . Did you attend, I was there. |
