Hello everyone,
thanks for the replies, love to hear from you.
Looking forward to the vegetarian restaurants.
I have applied to Australian Volunteers Abroad. Have no idea if I will get a placement or where or whether it will suit, but it is another option I am considering.
Otherwise I will still be coming to Mexico. I have been thinking that I really would prefer to do private tutoring as the information about the hours involved in some of the language schools may not be to my liking, such as until 10 pm every day....eek!
Anyway, I think that I just have to get there, and see what unfolds, then if it doesn't work, maybe I will go on to Spain, after I have taken some Spanish lessons in Guanajuato, and try to find some tutoring there.
If anyone has any feedback on private tutoring by a beginner tesol teacher it would be great to hear, or if anyone has wandered the world doing private tutoring and made enough to live on I would also love to hear about your thoughts.
Hope you are all well,
thanks again,
Christine |
