Can any of you travel veterans tell me what is the cheapest way to get to Vietnam from the States? I am a career teacher of ESL and would like to show up on the ground.

You could try mailing yourself via fed express or building a raft and hope for the best. Those are probably the two cheapest ways to get to Vietnam. However, a safer and more reliable way would be to catch a plane like normal people. So, my advice to you is, check online for the best possible price which is easily done through many convenient search engines and off you go man! I know, its as easy as that. Take care buddy!
