Hi!
Does anyone know if the chest xray is absolutely required for the medical exam? My employer told me to speak to the Embassy. I already called the Embassy and they told me to just fill out the whole form, but I feel like she didn't really understand my question. I had to pay $125 for the physical because it's a third party examination and the xray will only cost me more. I also have to pay for part of the costs for my medical exam in China. Also, does the Embassy in Canada require documentation from the blood test results? |

I am not quite sure why you are going through all this effort here when you are going to pay less there to do it for about $75 for everything. Waste of time when they are just going to make you do it again. It's not about the test results in your home country it's about the revenue generated in China and control factor. |

The medical exam is being required now before coming to China by many employers and consulates to get the z visa - maybe it is a new requirement - but that is what I am being told as well - and I am well aware that it will have to repeated in China - basically if you don't get the medical exam first - you won't get the job contract or z visa. |
