Did you try a search? There are many many threads on Sabis. Do a search of the whole Middle East branch. If you read all day, you might find something positive... but then maybe not...

If you do a blog search on Google, you will also find a few people discussing their experiences there.

Only for the desperate...

As an ex-Sabis/Choueifat employee, I can only recommend that you DO NOT work for them.

They will lie to you, not pay your salary on time, lord over your lessons, second guess your ability to teach/speak English properly, change your weekly schedule countless times, request that you take over other classes from teachers who quit or have been fired... etc. They are poorly run out of one head office in Lebanon who treat their teachers like faceless slaves and have very outdated ideas on education. For instance, they don't believe that children have learning disabilities or learn at different speeds.

Its not difficult work, but just don't do it.

Mr Druid... have you looked directly over the letter NCTBA? Oh... and above the little yellow circle with the exclamation point in it? What does it say? Laughing

Yes, but other than that, should I accept their offer? Laughing Laughing Laughing

Your experience pretty much mirrors everyone else that I have encountered who worked for them. Normally the only positive one hears is that they do pay you per the contract... low as it is... but usually on time.

Was their pay often late?
