i'd really like to teach economics and/or accounting somewhere instead of ESL someday, because that's what i majored/minored in.

i know that many of you have experience teaching in this setting, and i'm just curious how your qualifications differ from mine. all i have is a bachelors degree. no certifications of any kind. what kind of certifications would i need to qualify for such a position?

thanks in advance for any insight!

With most international schools you need to have a teaching certification (school not EFL course) and teaching experience with the subject.

An MA in something will also suffice in lieu of a teaching qualification in some cases. Depends on the school.
