ME:

CELTA
1.5 years ESOL experience
British 25 year old
No degree

Can I get a job in Indonesia?

Do I/can I satisfy relevant work permit/visa/other necessary regulations?

What pay range should I be satisfied with from a potential employer?

Some may baulk at the fact that I've not asked any questions regarding the culture or life. This information is important to me; however, I find it more realistic to find out which countries I am eligible to work in first, along with pay expectations.

Many thanks - all help much appreciated.

@Moderators:

I'm sure you will note that I've started threads in several parts on the forum asking the same questions.

I have read the forum's rules of conduct and couldn't find a problem with posting in this way; however, should I be mistaken please accept my apologies and advise me of whatever format is more appropriate.

Yes at EF and other schools who can "work around the degree requirement." Salaries around 6-8 million depending where.

Most schools that have a choice between you and a person who has the same qualifications but has a degree would probably pick the person who has a degree.

I would say that's true of EVERY school on planet Earth.

Also, Indonesia is a country that would have to kick out more than half of their EFL teachers if they started to enforce their 'degree' criteria.

Expect nothing and you will find so much more! Do an online degree with a respected university. It's never too late.
