For the TESOL conference vets:
How long has it taken you to get job offers after TESOL conference interviews? |

Sorry, what is a TESOl conference vet? and what is a TESOL conference interview? I'm been to TESOL conferences, and I have no idea what your asking. |

I presume the OP is referring to those repeat attendees of the international TESOL convention held annually in a different city in the US. In 2008 it was held in New York City. Last year's was held in Denver. This year's is in Boston. Next year's shall be in New Orleans.
The TESOL conference is one of THE places to interview for worldwide TESOL positions for the upcoming academic year. I assume the OP is asking about the length of time it takes for interviewees to receive job offers after interviewing at the TESOL conference, held in late March or early April of every year
I can't respond to your questions, NYCESOL11211, but I am also curious about the answers. I may be interviewing at the TESOL convention in 2011 in NOLA.
Regards,
fat_chris

I know this thread died awhile ago, but I am going to the New Orleans conference. Do you know if job interviews are for tertiary positions only? Are any K-12 positions advertised? I will have an MA and K-12 cert. |

They'll have the whole spectrum there. There hasn't been a TESOL convention that I've been to where the Prince George's School System hasn't been present...for example...
