I am weighing up two job offers in Jiangsu at the moment. One is in Suqian and the other is in Zhangjiagang. I was wondering if anyone has any experience/opinions on the places. The contracts are nearly identical, close enough to not be a concern in my decision making process, i am more interested in quality of life in the two places.

Suqian is the larger of the two but I was wondering if it would be less cosmopolitan as its out of the way a bit more. Similarly I see from my researching online that Zhangjiagang has no trainline, is it possibly a bit cut off from the outside world?

I would definitely choose Zhangjiagang - it is a thriving , developing city, whereas Suqian is remote and poor.
