I've been offered a position teaching the SAT (U.S. College Entrance Exam) and TOEFL test at a prep school for wealthy high school students in Shenyang, China.
The contract conditions, pay, and facilities look excellent from my in-person visit, and three of the foreign teachers claim to have worked there for over 2 years.
My question: Is this type of job a dead-end or will it count as good "experience" when trying to find other ESL jobs in the future?
I want to teach in Singapore once I get the required 1 year of experience.
I have a BA and TEFL but very little teaching experience. |
