Just a gentle hint of what is to come:
I'm busily filling out a job app for a university in The Kingdom, when I happen to notice that the requested format for my birth date is not the same as the requested format for my daughter's birth date. I check to see what format they want for my wife's birth date, but they don't want my wife's birth date at all.
Maybe they're too polite to ask?
