We're having a get together to kick off the school year! There are quite a few new teachers in town now.
Saturday, August 14th at 3 PM. We're meeting up at the Salon Corona in the centro historico for a little patio, beer, and sunshine.
Salon Corona is on Gante street, close to the corner of Madero. Metro stop Bellas Artes is the closest. Directions at google maps.
Here's a photo of the place as well. Easy to find.

Me too! Will be do a book swap? Also, I have a lot of ESL resources on my computer, and could burn a CD of anyone that wants one. I would personally appreciate any materials that anyone has that they aren't using, and will have some of my own to offer as well. If you want a CD, please send me a PM so I know how many to burn, or if you have specific things you are looking for. |

Just corrected the title...same day but it's Saturday the 14th not the 15th.
Book swap sounds good...there will be a number of teachers from the American School - some 30 new ones just arrived for this school year - and some will want to be part of a book club run by veteran staff there. I'm sure it's open to non-ASF teachers if anyone wants to bring it up.
If anyone needs better directions, feel free to PM me. Joey, hope you'll be there? |

Guy, are you sure this place will be open at the time we're planning to meet? |

Like Teresa, I have a whack of digital resources to share. Last call if anyone would like a copy as I'm burning CDs now before I leave for Salon Corona. |
