| I'm interested to know how much your rent is in Saudia (especially in Jeddah). I've been told for single accommodation you're looking at a minimum of 3000 SAR per month but elsewhere I've heard 1,000 - 1,500 SAR per month and my recruiter says that 2,000 SAR per month is enough for an abode. I'm going to ask the Saudia Embassy in London about this but in the meantime I'd appreciate any responses. |

They're probably all telling the truth. In Jeddah, as in any other large city, rents vary widely depending on location, size, facilities and other factors. I'm sure you could find somewhere in Jeddah for SR1000 a month. The question is: would you want to live there?

Good luck to you with that. Especially with it being Ramadhan, you'd be doing well to get someone on the phone who can tell you about the visa procedure, let alone about rental prices in Jeddah. |
