Someone from Kornell Academy contacted me for an interview. At first I agreed to it then I researched it (I know-research FIRST, then apply). After reading many bad reviews of it on the internet and actually finding out that it was blacklisted, I decided to decline the offer and sent an email. The day after, I discussed it with my coworker (who has worked in Taiwan for over 10 years). He told me to avoid the place and gave me evidence (first hand student and parent experiences that they have had with the company). This is what was replied to me when I declined their offer of an interview and demo.

"I'm sorry to hear that you will not come to the interview because of the gossips on the internet. (something has no credibility at all)
We have over 30+ foreign teachers under Korrnell Academy, if there are something seriously wrong with us, I guess they would not want to stay here at all.

The answer is quite clear from our perspective, but I'm not sure about you."

I would like to know if anyone has experience with Kornell Academy and if I was justified in declining the offer.

From the research you did you felt they would have screwed you over. You don't need any more justification than that.
