Does any body have an idea how much a lecturer would get (Masters Level Qualified, with 5 years experience) or if any one have worked there before? how is it like working there. Secondly would this experience be a stepping stone to enter in to Saudi Teaching market? |

Usually to work as a lecturer in an academic field (as opposed to being a humble TEFL 'instructor'), you are required to have a PhD, so a Master's may not be enough.

Eh? If you're working as a university lecturer, wouldn't you already have entered - at a high level - the "Saudi Teaching market" |

Shall I call my self lucky then getting a Lecturer post at Masters level. The reason I asked 'Stepping stone' because if the Univ reputation is not good than my experience will also not be counted as a reputable one.
Thanks for your input. |

So basically what you are telling us is that you have been offered a job but do not know what you will be paid? How can you be offered a job without knowing the salary?
Surely questions as to salary should be directed towards your prospective employer, not to posters on an ESL board? |
