It is a conspiracy to ensure that only non-Muslims sign up.

It has the reputation of being an excellent school - the best in the area - but VERY expensive. The international schools in KSA seem to always start early (much earlier than the average TEFL teacher's end of vacation) but I know that the first year they will allow students to enroll late, usually due to problems with getting visas and iqamas straightened out.

And yes, NCTBA is right as usual. Very Happy Like most American international schools, they have to maintain a certain number of class days to keep their accreditation. There are many breaks throughout the year in the Saudi calendar, and holidays at the two Eids are pretty much required. When you also consider time off for Christmas for the mostly Western faculty, it makes sense that these schools start early.

I know that all ISG schools around Dammam/Khobar are excellent. But...if you had to rank them, which would come out first, etc.?

Dhahran Elementary Middle School (DEMS)
ISG-Dammam
Dhahran British Grammar School (DBGS)
