Being new to the city (and country) and trying to figure out how to get places for numerous job interviews, I was wondering if there was a website that isn't as utterly useless as the IETT transit website when trying to figure what what buses go where and when. I've searched in vain for proper bus routes, but after several frustrating hours of broken links and zero results, I gave up.
So, is there some resource (or several resources) one can call upon to get around the Asian side of the city? It'd be a gigantic help.
Thanks in advance! |

There are a few other resources, one is a non-tourist map, another the dolmus (mini bus system) and another a compass.
My advice avoid public buses and get to grips with the dolmus.

| Going from the European side to the Asian side? Don't even try to get there by bus. Sea Ferries and trains work pretty well. Schedules for the sea ferries change all the time - best to pick one up right at the source. |
