I am intrigued by the company's product
Quote:
Program course system consists of GAC courses developed with ACT Education Solutions Limited or AES. You will be supplied with well established curriculum to teach.

Sorry for my observation, but doesn't the US ACT parent company, that owns the Australian based ACT Education Solutions Limited, own the GAC academic product too? Could anyone shed a light on this one? I know, according to the quote above, the Australians cooperated with this company only.

My understanding of it is that they have a license to teach the GAC from ACT Education Solutions Limited. Edukeys use official GAC books and have staff from ACT Education Solutions Limited present at the training.

I don't really believe that the ACT headquarters in Iowa, USA that own the ACT Education Solution Limited know about this. There are about 30 GAC centers on mainland that are licensed and supervised by the American ACT company charging about 20,000 American dollars initial licensing fees plus the royalties that depend on the number of students too. These centers are licensed locally based on the GAC course books too. Many are in local Universities. As it looks that China has got two different companies/franchisors with the same academic product? Laughing

I think there was a split between the USA parent company and the Australian ACT Education Solutions Limited. Edukeys has a license from the Australian company. Also, the audio the books use definitely have an ozzie accent to them.

I worked for Edukeys and the books they provided were pretty decent.

Sounds like Edukeys are selling the same academic product as these below American ACT company licensed mainland centers. Yes, they've sold the Ozzie product for its own inability to get the ACT American college entry exams product mainland licensed.

If there was a split in between the two, I wouldn't be surprised. The Americans vehementally pushed its licensed mainland centers' marketing for the US colleges, while Australians wanted these centers' students/parents to consider other destinations as well. It somewhat looks like nobody would buy the ACT college entry exam courses as GACs, so the ACT Education Solution that's owned the copyrights to GACs took them elsewhere. Hilarious indeed as they may have left their pasting, copying and re-editing work behind at the American company and now they are re-pasting, re-copying and re-re-editing yet again.

Now, I am wondering how ambitious the Edukeys' local subscribers are and if they are treating their foreign teachers at least as good as their new product.
