I have a friend of mine who is currently in Thailand, and who is in the process of securing a job with Siam International School. Is this school any good? Does it have a positive or negative reputation amongst ESL teachers?
Any info would be appreciated! |

Dont know any teachers who have worked there, but I do know 2 parents who sent their kids there. Both left the school for other options within a year. No details.
I think that they have good mid-tier salaries but dont know much about the package and holidays. I do know that they follow the American (California I think) curriculum.
The school is located far from Bangkok proper, in the Rangsit area (about 1-1.5 hours from central Bangkok) which is not really ideal and not really Bangkok. Been there once and the campus seemed quite nice as it is less than 5 years old. |

I take it back. Just saw their ad on the "other" THailand teacher site and they were offering salaries STARTING at 40,000/month. I know what they charge their students and they can afford much better salaries than that. Mid-tier International school in Thailand, you should be making 60,000 IMO. |
