I completed my 1 year contract. They thought I'd come back- though I signed nothing- so I got an "Exit/Re-entry."

My employer said that if I don't return, my visa will simply expire (end of this month) and then I will have to wait 1 year to be able to come back to Saudi Arabia for a new job.

They said the only other alternative is for them to issue me an NOC (is that a letter of no objection?). They said they refuse to issue these to anyone.

If I return to Riyadh before my re-entry expires, and have them issue me a Final Exit visa, will I be in the clear? Then I go home to my country and can get any other job in Saudi? Or, with a Final Exit, are you still required to have an NOC or whatever that is? If that is the case, then it seems pointless to pay money and return for a Final Exit.
