Hi all. I've been trying to watch "Angels and Demons" but ch131 is all, well, fucked up is the only way to put it and eztv.it doesn't have it. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

I often use www.surfthechannel.com
Problem is that most of the good links are megavideo, which means that you can't watch long shows without being interrupted by limits. (unless you're savvy and know a way around that). |

I've tried just about every megavideo workaround I could find on Google, but NONE of them allowed me to bypass the time limit.
Now I just wait for the 100yen day at the DVD store.... |

If you are talking about watching for free, then I do not know. If you are asking about paying for movies online, Netflix allows you to download movies to your computer.
I have tried Hulu for TV shows, but unfortunately those of us not residing in North America are blocked from watching them. |

Netflix doesn't let you view movies online if you're outside the U.S., does it?
Someone on another thread recommended Casttv.com, which I like as a source for British TV for us Americans.
Also, you may not be aware that Japanese DVD rental outlets usually have more movies from Western countries than from Japan itself (that's certainly true of TV shows), and that they're usually either subtitled in Japanese rather than dubbed or have the English soundtrack as an option. |

I am not sure if I am allowed to view movies from outside the US or not on Netflix. I noticed that iPad had an app for it and decided to download the app. I have yet to download a movie onto iPad. But I will get around to it at some point. |

I tried to use my netflix account while I was in Japan and acess is restricted to IP addresses outside the US- so no, you can't watch Netflix outside the U.S.
The same goes for Hulu. Try Veoh or Joost. |

Stop watching things on Megavideo and download them with Megaupload. Google what you want to watch with megaupload at the end and you'll have your movie/show in less than an hour. |

You can use VPN (virtual private networking) to hide your non-USA IP address from Hulu and similarly restrictive sites.
To find British TV shows, use BitTorrent or uTorrent to download them from sites like TheBox.biz |
