I'm looking for TOEFL preparation texts with sample tests. Anyone have any suggestions other than buying from Amazon?

I live/teach 2 hrs outside OC and am willing to travel somewhat on my quest.

Not sure about where in Oaxaca to get them but I've used both Barron's and Longman TOEFL preparation books.

http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-TOEFL-Internet-Based-Test-12th/dp/0764179055

http://www.amazon.com/Longman-Preparation-Course-TOEFL-Test/dp/0131950517

The two links above are for the iBT (Internet based test) and both have practice tests on CD. I'm not sure if they are still publishing a computer based or paper-based preparation version or if they are selling older versions anywhere.

The American Bookstore and New Option bookstore in DF both carry them and both will order volumes for you if they don't have it on the shelf. Perhaps there is such a bookstore in Oaxaca that can order them as well.

Since you say you live two hours outside of Oaxaca City, I'm going to jump to the conclusion that you work for a SUNEO university.
You should be able to get a TOEFL prep book for free from a publisher rep.

Contact them, say that you work at X university. Give the total number of students in the university and say you will be starting a TOEFL prep course next semester and are looking for a text book. Ask for a sample copy of what they have. If pressed as to how many students would be using their books, say something vauge like, I'm not sure in the first semester but eventually all of them.

Your sample copy should arrive in 5 to 10 days!

There's also a lot of stuff available on-line. Just google Online TOEFL preparation.
