|
|
My co-worker recently came back to Indonesia from Singapore with her KITAS. She arrived on the 3rd in Jakarta, but because of Merapi and the havoc it has caused with flights out of Jakarta, she was unable to obtain a ticket to get to Balikpapan until the 7th at night. She returned to Samarinda on Monday the 8th and my employer started to get the proper documents together for immigrasi. She went to hand the paperwork in today (the 9th) but was late and now she has to go back tomorrow, 1 day late. I was wondering what the penalty was for reporting one day late?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks |

I'm not aware of any cancellations between CGK and Balikpapan due to the ash, and as an aviation anorak I'm following such things. Can't understand why someone booking on 3rd would find first available flight on 7th eiter as this is low season and lots of seats to be had. A few airlines competing on that route, too.
In short, i don't know what the penalty is for reporting late but she'd better put together a more believable cover story. |

Actually only two airlines on sin to balikpapan route, silk air and mandala. Language schools will always opt for mandala, much cheaper and they only fly a few times a week. |

He specifically said she arrived in Jkt on 3rd and couldn't get a flight. Not SIN |
