Hello!
I was surfing through Monster.com one day when I came across a job post called "Fun English Camp in China and Taiwan;" below is some paraphrased information.
People can attend 5-day, one, two, three or four weeks day or resident camps. It seems to cater to children and teenagers throughout Taiwan, as well as some big cities in China. Camps take place during July-August and late January-February.
"Chineses students attend with the goal of learning and improving his/her English. We have developed a fun English language program that is a mixture of games, arts and crafts, drama and lots of English conversation."
The job posting was placed by Tupo Educational Services. There appears to be no internet web-page in their posting. An e-mail address to contact them is [email protected]
They say that they provide a roundtrip airline ticket from LAX to and from Taiwan, an orientation in the US, training for the camps upon arrival in Taiwan or China, lunch included during stay with the camps, a stipend of US$250/wk, offer to apply and pay for required travel visa, transportation to and from the airport, and accomodations with a Taiwanese family or dorms.
I can post more information, if necessary, but has anyone here ever heard of this employer or this camp before? Any help would be greatly appreciated as my brother and I are interested in learning more about this place and this opportunity.
Thank you very much for reading,
