Saw an advert in Vietnam news today-- IELTS examiner training MOD EDIT, 1-5th of November. A few questions
1) Have you been trained? What's it like? Hard work?
2) Is it worth it, e.g. in Vietnam is there a lot of examining to be done, and is it a good wage?
3) Does being trained at a program like this even guarantee you examining work?
4) What would be a fair price to pay for this training?
5) Is MOD EDIT a reputable institution?

I haven't had anything to do with IELTS testing in Vietnam, but they do tend to pay quite well. It is a good number if you can get the work. Cambridge oral testing can be very lucrative too as a part time top up, I used to do that in other countries.
In Vietnam Cambridge testing is done by MOET and you cant make a bean out of it.
Would be interested to know how much they charge for the training. |
