Last week, quite out of the blue, I received a disturbing story from an unfortunate teacher who had suffered two years of sexual harrassment at HCT.

No specific names are mentioned, so I think it meets the requirements of Dave's policy of anonymity.

How can she claim that they are corrupt and compromised when she seemingly never bothered to try to fight the 2 year problem, but just let it carry on?

I would still have left - likely a year before she did, but his ... would have been slammed in the door on my way out.

Well, I have, of course, no idea as to whether the situation was as described.

But it seems to me that if it were, and the lady suffered it for two years, that wouldn't necessarily mean that the HCT management involved weren't corrupt and compromised, too.

I keep thinking about wives who endure years, even decades, of spousal abuse. Their remaining with the abuser for so long doesn't mean they weren't being abused.
