Working with recruiters seems to be a time drag? I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for a job search. I'm seeking for employment in the Beijing area.
Thanks! |

| Is it better to work with recruiters,or to try and find a job on your own? Is there any job site that could help to find a good job? |

| As I'm experiencing so far, using recruiters is not a way up to par for finding employment as regards Middle Kingdom positions. I'm applying consistently since a month ago and what I'm getting is a series of unwell offers, as well as many no-responses and some spot-on no-offers. Not sure if my CV is mistargeted or the employers are in poor hiring status or what. Perhaps the objectives of my resume are not clear? Is it better to obtain a professional resumes service to write the documents? |

Or could it be that your English is not good enough to be an English teacher? There are at least 10 errors in this paragraph. |

One thousand recruiters offering !000 jobs, that are all the same. So now they have a problem. I am getting bites from schools I know have problems. They hired teachers who fled and now they are deperate. I know the jobs because that is all I have worked here in China, jobs from hell. There are good jobs but they are usually for foreign schools.
There is a huge market and demand here. Labor relations with foreigners is the crux of your problem. First someone in the school has to be paid something to contact a recruiter who must be paid and there
are the officials who I can't name who decide whether you can come, who must be paid. |
