I will be moving to Japan in early April and understand that the Japanese are a very gift-giving people. Are there any gifts you wish you would have brought, but didn't? What kind of gifts (from the USA) would one from Japan enjoy?
And...Do you wish you would have brought more of something that you can not find in Japan?

| Prettily wrapped boxes of cookies, small calendars with pictures of your region, some famous food item from your region,etc. You do not have to go overboard price wise, but do make sure that you have wrapped the gifts nicely. |
