Yesterday I applied for a job with OTI (Occupational Training Institute) . I did a search on them here and there are two threads both offering positive reviews but both from 2007. Anyone know if this is still the case?

This is their offer.

1. Rial Omani 1000/- per month
2. Single Status contract
3. Suitable furnished accommodation
4. Company maintained saloon car with fuel
5. Thirty (30) working days annual leave with pay for each full year of contract completed, in addition to public holidays as announced by Company.
6. Annual Airticket to the Airport nearest to home city.
7. Private medical insurance for reasonable treatment

Is this a reasonable salary? I have no idea about the cost of living in Oman. Anything I should be wary of?

It depends on your credentials of course, but is low norm for someone with a BA + CERT + 3 years of experience.

I have a degree (non teaching related), a CELTA & 7 years experience specialising in business English and business skills.
