On todays Dave`s Cafe notice board, King Fahd university has an ad for teachers which is regularly run. However the new ad has changed a little from previous ones as they have not specified South Africa as a suitable country from which to receive applications. Only USA, Canada, UK, Austarlia , New Zealand and Ireland are mentioned. For the first time South Africa has been omitted.
Is this merely an oversight in the ad or has South Africa been left out of the picture for employement at King Fahd University?

| Your best bet is to write directly to the university and ask this question. Officials there should be able to provide you with the correct answer. |

Well, I gues that they do not consider English as the first language in South Africa? Because in the ad the conditon of a candidate to be born in a country where English is the first languge.
I wonder if Zulu is the first languge spoken in South Africa?
Or may be the director of the English department got angry with a Zulu English teacher, so he omitted South Africa from the list in the ad!  |
