Are eye glasses in Oman expensive? I am wondering if I should get new glasses here before coming to Oman or wait and get them there? I paid $258 for my last pair of glasses here. Are they cheaper or more expensive in Oman? Anyone know? Any advise would be appreciated. |

They are a lot cheaper here and the service is quicker as well. The opticians I have been to have had the latest eye testing equipment and to me at least, seem quite good at their job.
A pair of prescription reading glasses in a decent frame cost me 23 OR including the eye test and were ready for collection in two days.

Thanks Duffy. Sounds similar to where I am now, but the costs are lot higher now than when I first came here. |
