I'm currently working in ESL in Seoul and have decided it's time to get out of teaching. I'm interested in working in writing/editing/curriculum development as my current position involved a lot of this and I've really enjoyed it. However, it also involves a lot of teaching which I'm just not so keen on any more, to be honest.

I've applied for a few jobs in Seoul, but the job market is pretty dreadful right now, so am expanding my search to other countries. I'm wondering if these kind of positions exist for native speakers in China and if so, is it possible to get one from outside the country? If anyone has any ideas where to look, I'd be really grateful. Thanks

It would make more sense to do both teach and curriculum build. I can't imagine any one school that would hire someone to only build a curriculum. When I ask some of these language schools or universities they can't tell me what will be used. They aren't thinking that far ahead, and their solution is to hire a teacher who would do both.

I would put something together you think sells and then market it from school to school.
